At Goya Gives, we are proud to stand with the Dominican community in celebrating the 41st Anniversary of the National Dominican Day Parade—a vibrant tribute to culture, history, and identity held on Sunday, August 13th, in New York City.
This year’s theme, “Nuestra Historia, Nuestra Gente / Our History, Our People,” beautifully captured the spirit of the parade. It honored the stories, traditions, and resilience of Dominicans whose contributions continue to enrich New York City and communities across the United States. From music and dance to colorful flags and shared pride, the parade transformed the city into a powerful expression of unity and heritage.
Supporting this celebration reflects our commitment to uplifting the communities that are an essential part of our shared story. Cultural events like the National Dominican Day Parade do more than commemorate the past—they strengthen identity, inspire younger generations, and create spaces where culture is celebrated openly and proudly.
At Goya Gives, honoring heritage is an extension of giving back. By supporting moments that bring communities together, we help ensure that traditions remain visible, valued, and passed on. We are honored to be part of a celebration that amplifies Dominican voices, legacy, and pride on such a meaningful stage.
As the streets of New York City filled with music, joy, and tradition, this anniversary reminded us that celebrating culture is also about celebrating people—their stories, their roots, and the future they continue to build together.
