At Goya Gives, we believe in the power of experiences that inspire, unite, and create lasting impact. That belief came to life during our visit to the Internado in Barranquilla, Colombia, where we partnered with NYCFC to support Scout Week “La Gran Aventura Scout 2022.” It was an unforgettable week filled with learning, teamwork, and joy for the children at the center.
Throughout the week, students took part in a variety of activities designed to encourage personal growth, confidence, and collaboration.
A highlight of the experience was the three soccer clinics led by professional coaches from NYCFC, where children not only learned new skills on the field, but also valuable lessons about discipline, perseverance, and teamwork.
We are incredibly grateful to NYCFC for their commitment and partnership in making this experience possible. Together, we were able to create meaningful moments that go beyond sports—moments that empower children, strengthen community bonds, and open doors to brighter futures.
