During a recent Goya team visit to the Dominican Republic, Goya Gives joined forces with New York City FC to create a meaningful experience for the children of Niños de Cristo orphanage—one rooted in mentorship, learning, and inspiration.
The soccer clinic offered more than drills and practice. It created a space where children could build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the encouragement that comes from positive role models. Through teamwork, movement, and shared moments of joy, the kids learned lessons that extend beyond the field—about perseverance, collaboration, and believing in their potential.
Seeing the excitement and smiles on their faces reinforced why initiatives like this matter. When sports are paired with mentorship, they become powerful tools for connection and growth, opening doors to new possibilities and helping young people envision a brighter future.
