During a recent Goya team visit to the Dominican Republic, hope, joy, and opportunity came together in a meaningful way. In partnership with New York City FC, we hosted a soccer clinic for the children at Niños de Cristo orphanage, creating a day filled with movement, learning, and connection.
The clinic offered more than just a chance to play. For the children, it was an opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, and experience the encouragement that comes from being seen and supported. Laughter, teamwork, and excitement filled the field as the kids practiced drills, kicked goals, and celebrated each other’s achievements—simple moments that leave a lasting impact.
As part of Goya Gives’ broader mission, this initiative reflects our commitment to delivering hope alongside nourishment. Supporting families and children in need goes beyond providing food; it also means creating spaces where young people can grow emotionally, socially, and physically. Experiences like this reinforce the importance of pairing essential support with opportunities that inspire joy and possibility.
We are deeply grateful to NYCFC for partnering with us to make this clinic possible and for sharing our belief in the power of community engagement through sports. Their involvement helped turn a visit into a meaningful experience that the children will carry with them long after the final whistle.
Together, we remain committed to empowering communities, uplifting youth, and creating opportunities that help families and children thrive. One shared meal, one soccer drill, and one smile at a time, we continue working to deliver hope where it is needed most.
