Young women living at Casa Hogar Alegría CHA

Educational programs

During the holiday season, Goya Gives and Goya Foods reaffirmed their commitment to care, dignity, and community by supporting the young women living at Casa Hogar Alegría in Toluca.

As part of this special time of year, Goya Foods donated thousands of pounds of food and toys, helping bring warmth and joy to the holiday celebrations. Members of #LaGranFamiliaGoya continued the festivities at Casa Hogar Alegría, where both the girls and the dedicated staff received gifts to mark Christmas and Three Kings Day—moments that reinforced a sense of belonging and care.

This visit was part of Goya’s annual holiday tradition across Goya Cares–supported hogares throughout Latin America, an initiative focused on ensuring the safety, well-being, and emotional support of young people. For the girls at Casa Hogar Alegría, the celebration was more than a holiday event; it was a reminder that they are seen, valued, and supported by a broader community that believes in their future.

At Goya Gives, protecting and uplifting young people remains at the heart of our mission. By standing alongside organizations like Casa Hogar Alegría during meaningful moments such as the holidays, we continue working to create environments rooted in security, compassion, and hope—where young women can grow with confidence and opportunity.

As the season of giving comes alive through these traditions, we are proud to be part of efforts that transform celebration into lasting impact for youth and communities across the region.
